With her beautifully simple design aesthetic in mind each design lends itself to becoming a special gift on its own, a small piece of ultra special art.

Karla & Aaron of The Lost And Found Bin wowed all of us at December’s Beggars Banquet Holiday Edition so much with their incredible collection of vintage everything, that when they contacted us saying they wanted a seperate booth this month to showcase their vintage typewriter collection under the name The Workhorse, we immediately handed over a spot in our new Chinatown space for them.
It was in early 2012 when their first shop, The Lost and Found Bin, was born. Aaron and Karla quickly grew an affinity towards typewriters - the candy colours, the mechanics, the beautiful designs became hard to resist.
Together, the couple has spent countless weekends visiting antique shops, flea markets and garage sales in Vancouver, even venturing across the border into Washington State to scour for collectibles.
Ready to be re-ribboned and put to good use, displayed in a storefront window or mounted on the wall in your study, The Workhorse currently has their hands on over ONE HUNDRED typewriters and will be bringing some of the very best to Chinatown this weekend at Beggars Banquet #008. See a selection of their goods on The Workhorse Etsy Page and follow along with their adventures on Facebook.

The Lost & Found Bin delivers something proper at every Beggars Banquet! This weekend they’re back in Gastown for Beggars Banquet #007 with their incredible selection of antiques, quality curiosities and vintage treasures.
It was in late 2011 when Aaron and Karla decided to re-visited a common childhood interest of theirs and began to take a serious interest in antiques. Aaron became passionate about cameras, photography equipment and film while Karla took an interest in vintage and antique home decor and knick knacks.
It wasn’t long that they’re collection started to grow and grow and soon enough they realized that they could afford to let some of their items go and their Etsy shop, The Lost & Found Bin, was born.
Together, the duo spend weekends visiting antique shops, flea markets and garage sales all around Vancouver, BC and sometimes also down in Washington state in the U.S. They search endlessly for unique items they truly love, clean them up, bring them back to life and will be unloading a brand new selection of them this weekend.
Take a look at some recent finds from The Lost & Found Bin on their Etsy Page and come down to get first dibs on their amazing selection just in time for the holidays at Beggars Banquet #007 this Friday & Saturday in Vancouver!

Creating designs full of color, sparkle, strength, and femininity Sarah has recently started to work with semi precious stones such as Quartz, Corral, and Black Onyx to bring more sophistication as well as prettiness to her range of ultra-special bracelets. Leathers, hardwares, Swarovski Crystals, and rope are the roots of almost all of the pieces this collection and she’ll be debuting new designs this weekend!
Much thought of what the seasons latest color and design trends goes into each of her pieces and most materials are sourced from multiple local vendors right here in Vancouver. All are handmade out of her apartment which is slowly morphing into a live / work studio. New colors and designs will be featured at her booth this weekend that are not yet on her Etsy.
